If you are experiencing an outage during normal working hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 am- 4:30 pm) please contact our office at 828-452-1178. If it is after hours please contact our Emergency line at 828-452-6600.
Please note that JSD has on-call crew members for Emergency outages due to main line breaks. If the outage has occured on the customer side of the meter it is the responsibility of the homeowner. JSD is not responsible for interuption of service from the meter to the customer's home or facility. A main like break will cause for mulitple interuptions and not necessarily a single home or facility.
If there is an interuption in service due to the meter being cut-off due to non-payment, this is not an Emergency situation that an on-call representative can handle after hours. Payment arrangements will need to be made with the office (828-452-1178) during normal operating hours.
