Junaluska Sanitary District offers a wide variety of convenient payment options for our customers. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.
Please note: DO NOT USE DOXO for bill payment if searching the internet for bill payment options. DOXO is NOT affiliated with Junaluska Sanitary District. DOXO will charge very high fees for their service!
JSD Payment Options:
Automatic Bank Draft- FREE! No fees!:
The worry-free way to pay your water bill!! With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank account and credited to your utility account. There are no set-up or processing fees*. To set up Automated Bank Draft, complete the Automatic Bank Draft form (also available under "Forms and Reports") or visit the JSD office. Complete the form and return it to the JSD Office along with a voided check. The form can be submitted in person at our office located at 558 Old Clyde Road -or- can be mailed to us at PO Box 35 Lake Junaluska, NC 28745. Accounts are drafted on the 7th of every month or the following business day should the 7th fall on a weekend or holiday. *Please note- insufficient funds may result in a $30 'returned check' fee.
Payment By Mail:
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon to PO Box 35 Lake Junaluska, NC 28745. Please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill. Customers should include 11-digit JSD account number on the memo line of the check.
Payment By Credit Card:
Credit cards accepted online by clicking the green "Pay Your Bill Now" button above*, in person at JSD office or over the phone. Customers will be charged a $1.00 service fee per transaction ($2,000 transaction limit. Available for account payments only. Not available for deposit or tap payments). *Please note the "Pay Your Bill Now" online payment system is a third party payment system. Online payments will not be directly reflected on JSD customer's account until after 8am on the next business day. As a result, online payments made after 4:30pm on the 15th could result in service disconnection if customer is two months behind in payments. Please make online payments prior to actual due date to avoid disconnection in service. Contact the JSD Office with questions. Visa, Mastercard and Discover only.
Credit card payments cannot be accepted for deposits nor tap fees.
Payment Drop-off Location:
You may pay your bill in person at our office address, 558 Old Clyde Road. We accept cash, check, credit cards* or money orders. To avoid longer wait times, please note that Mondays, Fridays, bill due dates and the first day after a holiday are normally very busy.
Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay:
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to two weeks to be received by JSD and posted to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information. Customer's 11-digit JSD account number must be noted on the memo line.
Payment at Home Trust Bank Locations (Clyde and Waynesville only):
Customers have the option to pay their JSD bills at either the Clyde or Waynesville Home Trust Bank locations. The following stipulations apply: (1) Only the amount due on the bill can be paid; (2) Payments must be made by the 10th of the month in order for payment to be reflected prior to next billing. Payments made after the 10th could result in service disconnection if customer is two months behind in payments.
