Please avoid going over water meters when mowing. Meter box lids contain a transmitter for meter communication and readings called a "mushroom cap". Customers may be held responsible for replacement costs if damaged. In addition, please ensure that mushroom caps and meter box lids are clear of mulch, etc. Thank you for your consideration. Beginning February 27th, JSD's office hours will be limited temporarily due to staffing.
These hours will remain in place until further notice:
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm*
Closed Daily 11am - 12pm
*Weather and Staffing could affect these hours.
In the event of an emergency outside of office hours (new service requests and disconnections for nonpayment are not considered emergencies), please contact the Haywood County Sheriff's Department at 828-452-6600.
