COVID-19 Update: April 3, 2020

Junaluska Sanitary District  (JSD) is complying and adhering to the Executive Order No. 124 put in place by Governor Roy Cooper of the State of North Carolina on March 31, 2020. JSD is and will work with all its customers that are being affected by COVID-19. If you have any questions, concerns or are in need of assistance, please contact our office at 828-452-1178 or email info@jsdwater.org. Our office lobby will remain closed to the public during this State of Emergency but our staff will be available for your water and sewer needs.

  1. Cash payments- The full contents in the envelope will be applied to your bill. Change will not be provided. Call ahead of time for payment information.
  1. If you need a receipt for your dropbox payment, please include your email address with your payment.

As a unit of local government of the State of North Carolina that provides an essential service of water distribution and sewer collection to its customers, JSD is preparing for the possibility of a local community impact of the COVID-19 virus.

As a provider of an essential service that is important during this state of emergency, JSD is committed to delivering the reliable water you need while helping to protect the local health and well-being of our community. We also need to protect the health of our employees who provide this service and strongly encourage our customers to cooperate with the District during this time.

We will be taking steps to proactively help ensure the stability and continuity of our operations. Our employees who interact with customers will be maintaining a safe distance and using protective wear.

Delivering reliable water is the District’s commitment and responsibility to our customers.
